The product
What does LeadBolt actually do?
It answers new leads from Yelp, your website, Google, and other sources within about 45 seconds, with a reply composed for that lead in a voice you control. That is Strike First, the speed-to-lead engine, and Live Wire, the auto-responder. Lightning Rod screens out spam, Boomerang follows up with leads that go quiet, Switchboard keeps every conversation in one inbox, and Scoreboard reports which sources produce revenue. On the Pro plan, Throttle also tunes your Yelp Ads.
Does it work with Yelp Messaging and Request a Quote?
Yes. Both are answered in the same Yelp conversation, so Yelp records your response time and response rate. Yelp is the first source we built for, not the only one.
Will customers know they are talking to software?
The first reply is one of your scripts with your business name and a short delay, so it reads like a quick office manager. Follow-up answers come from details you loaded. Every automated message is labeled as automated inside your inbox, not to the customer. When a person takes over, the thread simply continues.
Are the replies canned?
No. Every reply is composed for that one lead: what the customer actually wrote (the problem, the question, the words they used), the service LeadBolt classified, the time of day and whether you are open, the customer's city or ZIP, your own voice rules (the phrases and facts you set, like your warranty or your service call price), and, with Dispatch, real appointment windows from your calendar. Two leads never get the same message, a follow-up question gets an answer to that question, and nothing goes out that reads like a bot.
Can AI write the reply for me?
Yes, with Spark, the AI reply add-on. On any lead, pick a word limit, 40, 80, or 120 words, and Spark drafts a reply from the whole thread, your voice rules, and the service, not just the last message. A person always reads and approves it; nothing sends on its own, in any automation mode. Spark is 300 credits a month for $39/mo on any plan, one credit per draft, and unused credits do not roll over.
What happens after hours?
After-hours scripts take over based on the business hours you set per location. They acknowledge the request, set expectations for the morning, capture the address, and escalate emergencies to whoever is on call.
What are the automation modes?
Off: LeadBolt organizes, people reply. Assisted: LeadBolt sends the first reply and drafts the rest for approval. Autopilot: LeadBolt runs the conversation and applies routine ad changes on its own. You can switch any time, and a person can take over any thread in any mode.
Can you build a dashboard from our own data?
Yes. If it has rows and columns, it can be a dashboard. Send us a spreadsheet, a CSV export from your job platform, call tracking logs, a price book, or a fleet log, tell us what you want to see, and Scoreboard builds it: revenue by technician, calls by hour, maintenance plan renewals, whatever the rows support. Custom dashboards are included in Pro and usually take about a week.
Spam and lead quality
How does spam detection work?
Every inquiry gets a score from 0 to 100 based on solicitation language, whether it offers appointments instead of requesting them, missing service or contact details, sender history across the LeadBolt network, and geography outside your service area. High scores are parked with the reasons listed. Nothing is deleted, and one tap restores a mistake.
Does parked spam hurt my Yelp response rate?
No. Parked messages are never counted as unanswered because we do not treat them as leads. Real leads are answered instantly, which is what keeps the rate at 100%.
What if it parks a real customer?
Restore it from the Spam view. The first response sends immediately with the delay skipped. Restores are rare and each one improves the scoring.
Setup and integrations
How long does setup take?
About 10 minutes for Yelp, plus however long you spend editing the default scripts. Website forms take a one-line embed, or point your existing form at LeadBolt. Google LSA, Meta, and Angi each take a few minutes from the Integrations page.
Will you set it up for us?
Yes, and it is included with every plan. We connect Yelp, your website, your job platform, your CRM, and Slack with you on a screen share. You do not read a setup guide. You show up to a call. On the call we set up Yelp and every lead source you use; ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro, or LeadBolt Jobs; HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho; Slack alerts and the Book Online Now popup; and Your scripts, hours, and service area, written with you. Usually one 45-minute call. Live the same day.
Do I need to give you my Yelp password?
No. You connect your Yelp business account in about 10 minutes and never share a password with us. LeadBolt receives your Yelp messages and sends replies back into the same Yelp conversation.
Do I need ServiceTitan or another job platform?
No. LeadBolt Jobs, the job tracker built into LeadBolt, takes a lead from won to invoiced to revenue with nothing to connect. If you run ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro, Handoff creates customers and jobs from leads and pulls revenue back so analytics report dollars per source. HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoho connect directly; Google Sheets and most others through the LeadBolt API.
Does LeadBolt replace ServiceTitan?
No. ServiceTitan is the operating system for the shop: dispatching, invoicing, payroll, inventory. LeadBolt sits in front of it and answers the lead in under a minute, then Handoff creates the customer and the job in ServiceTitan with the source attached. Most ServiceTitan shops run both.
Do you have Slack alerts?
Yes. Pick a channel and LeadBolt posts a new lead there with the reply it sent, flags a thread that needs a person, announces an appointment booked, notes spam parked (off by default), and sends a daily summary each morning. Anyone on the team can jump from the alert into the thread.
Can I use it for more than one location?
Yes. Starter and Growth include 1 location, Pro includes 3, and additional locations are $99/mo each. Every location gets its own Yelp connection, hours, scripts, texting number, and reports.
Billing
Is there a free plan or trial?
No free plan. Plans are monthly and cancel any time, so the risk is one month. If you connect a source and it does not answer a lead in the first week, email us and we will refund the month.
What counts as a lead?
A new conversation from a connected source. Follow-up messages in an existing conversation do not count, and neither does parked spam.
What happens if I go over my plan's lead limit?
Leads keep getting answered. We email you and suggest the next plan. We do not stop replying to your customers over billing.
How do I cancel?
From the Billing page in one click. The plan runs to the end of the period, your data stays exportable for 30 days, and nobody calls to talk you out of it.
Data and privacy
Who owns the conversations and customer data?
You do. We process it to run the service. You can export leads and messages at any time and delete your workspace from settings.
Are text messages compliant?
Replies go to people who messaged you first, follow-up sequences honor STOP and HELP automatically, and every number is registered for business messaging. Details are in the terms and privacy policy.
Still have a question?
Email hello@leadbolt.app or use the contact form. A person answers, usually the same day.
